A room on the top floor of the medieval Quartero tower, in the heart of Asti, houses the M.A.G.M.A.X to offer an immediate 360-degree view of the mineral and mining world, presented from a naturalistic, historical, scientific, artistic and social point of view.
In addition to the guided tour of the permanent exhibition (average duration of 20-30 minutes) and of the temporary exhibition (average duration of 10-15 minutes), the visitor is invited to request – possibly before the visit – an in-depth study on topics of particular interest, not strictly…scientific. Much more is available to satisfy every curiosity: inspirations are not lacking, by consulting the section «The Patrimony of M.A.G.M.A.X». Young visitors will find a trip designed just for them with surprises, improvised experiments, games, toys, dioramas, comics and… some jokes!
The visit of the permanent exhibition deals with the following areas:
